Vivian True knew she wanted to act at three years old. What came next wasn’t the usual path — she became a pianist, a scholar, an engineer, and Miss Teen Washington before ever turning towards film.

Vivian was accepted into the University of Washington at age fifteen through the UW Robinson Young Scholars program, having skipped two grades, and was later honored as a Forbes Under 30 Scholar. She is a former Miss Teen Washington (2016) and a triple preliminary winner in Evening Gown, On-Stage Question, Fitness, and Talent—where she performed the Game of Thrones theme song on piano.

Before shifting into film, she worked as a software engineer at Microsoft, specializing in iOS development and building consumer applications that reached millions of users. She is also a classically trained pianist of over twenty years, and enjoys playing Mozart pieces blindfolded.

Her passion for acting and filmmaking led her to train at the Los Angeles Performing Arts Conservatory, LA Acting Studios, and Giosa Acting Studios over the last five years. She produced and starred in her film All I Am (2024), which won Best Romantic Film of the Year at IndieX and premiered at LA’s Regal Cinema Theaters in June 2025.

Most importantly, she is an animal lover with one spicy Dachshund named Jackson and four rescue cats: Ginger, Leo, MooMoo, and Binky.
